L27: Going to COLLEGE or NAH!?


Level 27 Wednesday: Society has basically told us that if you don't go to college you won't be successful but I beg to differ!!! College doesn't make you better than anyone nor does it make you smarter! In my opinion it's ok if you don't go to college as long as you have a VISION, a PLAN and you EXECUTE your PLAN! College isn't for everybody... Some people are meant to join the workforce, go to the military and some are meant to be entrepreneurs!! It's important that we stop perpetuating this false sense of hope. We need to start painting a very vivid picture for our kids by being REAL WITH THEM! Students you have options..... I'm not saying it's going to be easy but you can definitely make it in this world without getting a degree... Just understand that it's going to require a lot of hard work and dedication! Getting a degree doesn't guarantee that you'll get a job! So when you prepare to graduate please consider ALL OF YOUR OPTIONS! Don't allow society to FORCE you to believe that you can't take your own path! Follow your heart and be smart! You can do whatever you put your mind to as long as you're willing to work hard, make sacrifices and be relentless in your pursuit toward your goals! Follow your DREAMS!!! Chase your PURPOSE and Go GET IT!!
